CHEYENNE, OKLAHOMA – Roger Mills County farmer and rancher Frank D. Lucas issued the following statement upon being re-elected to the United States House of Representatives for Oklahoma’s Third Congressional District:

“I am humbled by the support of my fellow Oklahomans. I take very seriously the trust they have delegated to me, and will continue to work on their behalf towards a more responsible federal government. We must preserve an effective farm and food safety net and maintain a strong national defense, all while restoring order to the nation’s finances and reducing our crippling national debt.”

During the 112th Congress Lucas voted for a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution; to repeal Obamacare; and to enact a farm bill that reduced the deficit by $35 billion.
